Thanks for purchasing our Flower Arranging Starter Kit For Kids!
We sincerely hope that it will keep your kids busy and happy for a while.
Here are some easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions.
STEP 1: PAINT THE TERRACOTTA PLANT POT!
There is a terracotta plant pot in the bag. Guide your child to paint the terracotta plant pot using the paint set provided.
STEP 2: SOAK THE FLORAL FOAM
Fill a small tub with water (you can use any pail/tub at home as long as it is big enough to accommodate the piece of floral foam). Gently place the floral foam on top of the water and let it soak naturally. The foam will float at first and after a short while will almost fully submerge.
Guide your child to resist the urge to push the floral foam into the water.
Then, bag the floral foam and push it into the tin pot.
STEP 3: ARRANGE THE BIGGEST FLOWERS FIRST.
You can start by guiding him/her to start with the biggest flowers first (in this case, the gerbera daisies). You can help him/her to trim the gerbera daisies to 2 different lengths, before inserting them into the vase. You may also add the leaves at the base.
STEP 4: FILL IN THE GAPS WITH SMALLER FLOWERS
It's time to let your child's creativity juices flow! Help your child to trim the rest of the smaller flowers into shorter stalks. Then let him/her fill up the gaps by inserting the rest of the flowers around the gerberas.
At this point, your child can do whatever he/she wants!
